Make a Spectacle of Yourself

Summer shades are all the rage during these hot summer days.  Don’t just wear a plain old pair of brown sunglasses that you bought at the grocery store for five dollars.  Sunglasses are an important fashion accessory and they are helpful in protecting your eyes as well.  Did you know that UV and other radiation can harm your eyes as well as your skin?  So, protect your valuable lookers with several great pairs of summer shaders in fabulous styles.

How to pick the right sunglass shape for your face is often a challenge, but remember that you just want to balance your face shape with the glass shape.  If you have a round face, balance it out with a more square-shaped lens.  If you have a square shaped face, a circular shaped lens will bring balance to your face.  Almond or oval shaped faces are a good fit for most any shape of lens.

Four big trends this season are showing up on celebrity faces everywhere and they are an easy and affordable look that anyone can replicate.

Colorful florals, bold solids and fun prints are a great trend.  Try mint green polka dot glasses, hot pink glasses or Hawaiian prints.  This is a super way to incorporate a trend or color into your wardrobe without having to go all the way.

Retro is back!  The round glasses of the 80s are everywhere.  You don’t have to be Ozzie Osbourne to wear the circular shape, just have a square face and try out some fun colors like navy or yellow.

Cat-Eye Chic is also retro style from the 50s but today, cat-eyes are oversized and eye-catching in bright white, racy red or other bright colors.

Oversized – anything oversized is “big” in fashion these days.  Oversized glasses are easy to wear for most face shapes and give great protection.  So, go big or go home!
