VOGUE:
Mrs. Potter film is your character in a biopic of great famous UK chef cook Nigel Slater abrasive nightmare for the frail child, Nigel, Freddie Highmore plays. It eventually leads him out of the house. What attracted you to this role?
Helena Bonham Carter:
The challenge was something very attractive to find Mrs. Potter. Reading the script, it looked almost monstrous, with their well-sixty costumes nylon hair rigged and malice portion thereof. All the taste of Mrs. Potter – but are delicious. See the other hand said that Nigel Slater is certainly a very bad boy, because he was intellectually ahead of his time so far. What child wants to cook meringue pie multistage what you look like?

What were your culinary passions of childhood?
Chips, crisps and chocolate! And not to forget “Arctic Rolls.” It was a cheap ice cream, which was wrapped in a cookie dough with raspberry jam as soon as possible. For these things I would have died as a child. Today, you probably would find horrible. We forget as adults, smells and tastes of his youth and had a taste of great importance. As a child, for example, was willing to even more frightening entrees to wear, then get to enjoy a delicious dessert.

Much of the film, but you can wave to cook, but very convincing on the canvas. Did any of your personal passions?
You mean before or after “toast”? In my family, everybody knows that this part of the female side of me is not very pronounced. Too long I have with my parents and lived alone. But the good thing about acting is the case, the role that free education is always prepared. So I went to the pharmacy, I went through the shelves and cleaning the lessons of my girl. I was very surprised.

What?
The amazing pleasure of preparing a clean surface and then to admire the result. Clean Spirit card is really the case. And deeply satisfying, almost meditative.
