At least, your jeans are.  Where classic denim washes have been the staple for years, this summer, fashionistas are sprouting up everywhere wearing floral jeans in everything from itsy-bitsy prints to large florals, from soft subtle pastels to bold colors and striking black and whites.

Floral jeans are an awesome updated look for the casual everyday style when paired with casual tops and tees and can even be dressed up with replica satins and sparkles for evening wear.  Floral jeans give an ultra-feminine look without being froo-froo or over the top.

They are chic and easy to wear and pair with accessories from trendy jewelry, jackets, scarves and bags.  They work with flip-flops and sneakers in daytime and look equally great with platform espadrilles and wedge sandals for evening.

Floral jeans are the mainstay of the blooming trend, but don’t overlook rosy shorts, capris and skirts as well.  If you are really bold, go for a floral sundress.  Blossoms look great on all pieces of clothing.  But this is a trendy that needs a little careful management.  While a prudently paired floral piece is the absolute best, going with a floral jean and a blooming top may put you over the garden’s edge. Floral overalls might have your friends singing Old MacDonald, so stick to a single budded piece and use gentle polka dots, tiny stripes, mini checks or solids to accentuate your statement piece.
